Robert, I am on oDesk but everything I apply for is either a scam or I'm not qualified. I have been reading this post because I am in the same situation as Denise. I have data entry skills but they are 17 years in the past. I have no recent experience. I need to work from home so that I can set my own hours around my kids activities. Do you or does anyone have any tips for applying on oDesk. I had one interview, it was a scam they wanted to send me money to buy a whole bunch of software. I am getting discouraged

I would say think about your gifts and talents and see if you can find something around that.

There are free programs to earn money and then you could earn money with the free stuff(surveys, referral programs,etc) to invest later.

Ask yourself these questions:
1)What do I enjoy doing?
2)What is a subject I know most about?
3)What am I passionate about ?
4)What skills do I have that can be profitable?

You can always write an ebook for little to no money(anyone can do it), you can use whatever skills you have and market yourself on craigslist, social media etc.

Yea, I too would be interested in this I don't know how you can make money doing this with the price of postage etc but I could be wrong.
