Most people DO reciprocate, but some don't. It's just something you cut your losses on. It's not like we can chase them down and make them like the page.
![]() Congratulations on your site. |

I've found facebook and Instagram to be the easiest for gaining followers and customers. Twitter is the hardest.

I personally only follow those that I have an interest in so I'm also one that does not do automatic follow back ick. I never just follow people because they followed me. And I would hope people did the same for me.
It should be about quality over quantity ![]() While we are on this subject, it drives me crazy on those follow parties when people expect me to follow them back using my personal profile (on Facebook for instance) just because they liked my page or followed me. Those peeps don't GET how this social stuff works LOL |

Thanks for the honest opinions. Today I tackled the folks that I know are past co-workers, family and friends to start. Tomorrow I will go with local businesses and then Thursday will be overall "celeb" sites. The good thing about my new project is that I WANT anyone and everyone to become part of my project.

I joined a Facebook event - first and last time for that! I don't blast people with my stuff every single day... I have a lot of friends on facebook that I love to hang out with so I have found a comfortable way to mix my business with my social life... but it is NOT by forcing them to like my stuff or asking them to follow me. You made my night. ![]() |

I have to agree with Angie. While "follow parties" may be good for getting your number up, that is usually all it is doing - getting your number up. In many cases those people follow back with fake profiles or simply hide your Page from their feed so they are never returning or engaging with you anyway.
Seek out those truly interested in your message. It may take longer, but you will get far better return in the end. |

You guys are true words of wisdom.
And about the FB Event- I have been told by many to stay away from them...far away. LOL |
