Hosting suggestions
I want to use WordPress.org an I know I have to get hosting but not sure which company to use. I have used Hostgator in the past but wanted to know if there is any other hosting site that isn't expensive and has if not more for your buck than Hostgator.
All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Linda

I use Godaddy and they offer some really good discounts sometimes. The last discount I saw from them was 33% off.

Most people recommend that you don't host where you register your domains. And many people have issues with GoDaddy hosting. I've never used their hosting so I can't really comment on that, but I've stopped buying my domains there for a couple of reasons (that have to do not with quality of service, but mainly with their CEO's behavior)

I decided to use Godaddy for my domain because I have used them in the past and didn't have a problem with them.

I buy my domains through GoDaddy. But I have had hosting for the past 4 or so years through Bluehost.com. No complaints. I do like GoDaddy and they have great customer service but as a pp mentioned upthread, I'd never have my domains and hosting through the same company. A little too much of "eggs all in one basket" for my liking.
