Hi everyone
I really need some help coming up with a name for my new business! Essentially it is a kids coaching/counseling business. I'm a mental health counselor but I have created specialized programs for children 4-18 to help them develop postive life skills, social skills, character development, etc... This is not tutoring but focuses on the social and emotional skills that children need to help them navigate life, such as making and keeping friends, self-esteem, stress management, communication, etc... I want something catchy that will grab their attention. I'm really stuck on this but I'm all ready to go and want to start advertising asap. Ideas?? Thank you, Susanne Last edited by creativekidscoach; 01-01-2011 at 08:26 PM. |

hum creative kids coach it's now two words but kids is short.
Think you kind of already found it other then the three word thing. Creative K Coach C3 for Creative Cids Coach. Mc Donalds uses just the R for are in it's playland. Glad I'm not a grammar purest or these things would so bother me. Kreative Kids Koach K3 versus C3 oops now we are getting longer. |

I think Kidz Can is very catchy, easy to remember, and it is positive sounding! How about spelling it Kidz Kan to be different?

If you go to Crowdspring.com you can have thousands of people thinking of a name for you. you pick out the best and pay the winner. I think it is $200.00 or more. More heads are better than one.

Are you looking for the website too? If so, that's going to greatly limit you as so many domains are taken these days. That said, I'm big on creative thinking and you'll find something that will work. I like the Crowdspring idea. Seems like you would get a lot of bang for the buck and it would save you some time.
What about: Kid Camp or Kid Kamp |

Of the ideas so far I like Kids Can, but think it should be spelled correctly.
I usually start with google, having the right domain is a big deal. And sometimes their suggestions can prompt your own thinking.. How about KidsGoGlobal, KidsToAdults, How about somehting that talks about the process you use? Its not tutoring, so what is it? How do you teach this stuff? Cartoons? -> SocialToons? ToonUp ? ToonToTeen? Music? -> GrowthTunes? Are you targeting the kids or the parents? In each case, what is the BENEFIT they get ? Is this a program that would help adults as well? Lots of them needs social skills. Maybe the name should not focus too much on kids? IMHO, when doing something unique, it is important tha the name say as much as possible. Or have a lot of money to develop a brand name. I thought Amazon.com was a terrible name for a book seller, so WTHDIK ? And maybe a name that sounds/looks like a text abbreviation. No clever idea yet, but along the lines of MyBFF, How about BestFriendsGlobal? Best Friends Everywhere? Sell the BENEFIT. Its hard to brainstorm online without the feedback.... |
