I've recently begun transcribing for a couple of online companies, and have discovered that my grammar skills are not as good as I would have hoped.

In an effort to spruce up my skills, before I make enough errors to get let go, I've started an online grammar course, but I'm wondering how else to improve my skills since transcribing spoken words are not as easy as just writing (and even that could use some work - this sentence is proof). How else can I work to improve my skills?

Thanks!

I think you can really improve through practice and continuous writing. Hope this helps.

One way is to watch more TV (if listening is an issue for you). If is isn't, then enables subtitles or watch the channels which provides subtitles. You can learn a lot from that.
And another one is YouTube. There are many channels which teach you basic grammar which, in the name of colloquial, we don't follow anymore.

I remember those days. I'd reach 96% accuracy and not more. I totally feel your pain.

Make sure when you run the spellcheck, you have also the grammar check on in Word. That helps some.
