I've heard of VIPKid through a friend, and pay is $18-$22 an hour for teaching English to children in China. You don't have to be able to speak Chinese. There are also bonuses for referring others. I am not with VIPKid, but thought I'd mention it here for those interested in this line of work from home.

Hi all,

Just started working with VIPKids as well.

a few pointers and things I learned:

1) don't go crazy with the props. $5 from the dollar store was More than enough (Letters, foams, stuffed bunny, whiteboard sheet, marker)

2) They mostly want enthusiasm and a quiet, clean environment - saw videos of people acting like clowns and thought eh.... but I just was myself and it went well

3) The entire process took less than a week Apply --> Interview --> Mock --> paperwork
