Hi guys,

I am very interested in tutoring math & science as a side job. I tried tutor.com, and the students on there rated my teaching 5.0/5.0 yet I barely make 10 bucks an hr. For receiving a bachelors in mathematics and currently pursuing a masters in engineering, that does not seem like fair compensation. Does anyone know any good tutoring companies that pay $15-20 an hr? I thought of doing my own private tutoring as I already have the whiteboard capabilities for it, (basically its a link that I send the student just before the session starts, and the interface for it is very simple and easy to use) but the only problem would be getting students in the first place. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any tips.

Have you looked at any sites like K12? I'm not sure what their hiring requirements are?

K12 | Online Public School, Online High School, Online Private School, Homeschooling, and Online Courses options (http://www.k12.com/)

After getting the Masters, maybe you could look at online universities too like the University of Phoenix?
