I was hired today. It seems like a good, legit company and she said they are hiring almost 2K tutors!

Good luck!;)

I was hired today. It seems like a good, legit company and she said they are hiring almost 2K tutors! You must be a certified teacher.

Good luck!;)

This does look very promising! You do NOT have to be a certified teacher. The ad says teaching experience preferred, but does not even specify any educational requirements for teachers.

I have applied and been contacted for an interview, and I am not a certified teacher. I have a BA and several years of online tutoring experience, but I am aware of others who were hired with fewer qualifications than I have.

Great! Thanks for correcting my mistake! I was asked about my certifications, so I assumed...

I was referred by a friend who is also a teacher, and did not even go to the website until I was hired.
