View Full Version : Why the change?

Hi all!

I have been putting things from my house up for auction over the past
few years (usually things I had to have and later decided I
didn't!) Anyway, when I first started listing, Ebay was so super
easy to list on! Now, they have all the html garbage, which takes
so much longer! Why did they change it to make it harder?!
Or am I missing something?

Wishing it were easy like it used to be!!smileys/smiley29.gif

If you are using Netscape or Firefox..it only shows the html version.

If you are using Explorer you have a choice. There are tabs
at the top of your description window. One is for HTML the other
is for Standard (you do not have to know html)..

MS Explorer is the only browser fully supported by eBay right now

*lololol*...well I always love a hug. I had it happen to me too
and felt the same way you did so I knew where you were coming from. smileys/smiley36.gif

It's the same with Turbolister if you use it, use Explorer as your default.

Except don't use the new IE7 beta! It took me hours to figure out why TL wouldn't work anymore.

You could upload auctions, but you can't edit them (something about how the edit screen pops up...)

Thanks for letting me know Kevin, I don't use MS Explorer only when I
want to edit eBay auctions. But I will add it to my list of

I'm stuck in Netscaps. :o)

Maybe when it comes out of Beta it will be okay. I know I brought
these issues up at eBay Corporate when I was there and they said there
were no plans to integrate anything other than MS for now.
