So I posted below about my sweet pug. We have been fighting yeast on her skin and in her ears (and throat sometime!). One vet just gives us a lecture, one gave us a Diflucan pill to give her everyday. She asked us if we feed her any sugar. We don't. She did used to get into our old cat's canned food alot when we put it down but unfortunately, our sweet older cat passed a month ago)

We took her to a different vet today and she said it could be a food allergy. So I did a search on yeast on dogs and one gal highly recommended a special shampoo and Blue Buffalo food. Well, even for my pug, it is $30 a bag for a 15 pound bag.

I was just wondering if there was a similar brand that might be a bit cheaper.

Thanks!
Leanne

Earth Born is great...
Your dogs skin conditions could be caused by the wheat and fillers in many dog foods. I have been doing alot of research and found that the majority of dogs skin problems, stomach problems and allergies are due to just that.
I give my three boys Earth Born with no wheat or fillers (such as potato, rice etc..) You will see that they are more satisfied even though you are feeding them less amounts, nice shiny coats and they love it!!
Good luck

My aunt has a dog with a bad yeast problem. She bathes her in oatmeal about once every two weeks, and it seems to make a WORLD of difference.
