View Full Version : Baker's size extracts!

Are back! This is good stuff! Once you are turned on to Watkins extracts, there is no going back! I always enhance my baking (even if I am using a box) with Watkins extracts and/or give my desserts a little twist!

Folks always love it and always asking what I put in my desserts~ I especially love using the butter and of course the vanilla. It's amazing how flavorful you can make a dessert by adding the butter extract without the calories!

And, now that Summer is around the corner, I enjoy using the fruity extracts - just made a jello cake and added some 'secret' ingredients! It was scrumptious! Oh, and don't forget the ice tea - add a little flavoring to give your ice tea a special twist.

Share your ideas~ :)

I've been using so many of the extracts - I love doing farmers markets, and I bake biscotti to sell there with all the different flavours of extracts. I make money selling the biscotti, and money selling the extracts that go in them! So many interesting flavours too - I've looked on the shelves at places like Bulk Barn and the grocery store, and you just can't find even half of the flavours we carry.

The bakers sized are wonderful for the amount of baking I'm doing - and if you don't do as much baking as all that, they will last quite a long time :)

One of my favourite different things to do with extracts? Milk or Soy Milk Steamers. Basically, you add some of your favourite flavour of extract and steam it in your milk - it becomes a replacement for latte's for me when I'm off coffee.
