WooHoo!!! I'm so excited and wanted to share that I got my kit yesterday and made some samples this morning. Since, the kit only comes with a bar..and I wanted to have several different samples I made my samples like how some consultants do their basket testers.

I purchased a candy mold at our local craft store and used my embosser to melt the wax. Well, of course, it was a little more complicated than that, and if you need to make alot of samples this probably would be the way to go. I needed to get creative until I can sign up for Scent and Warmer of the month kit. Plus, I have people that's wanting a catalog and I want to make sure I can give them samples.

Anyway, this is what I did...I numbered each cavity with a perm. marker...so, 1-15. Then I melted a different scent into each cavity. I numbered a peice of paper from 1-15 and wrote the name of the scent I poured into cavity 1, then cavity 2, so on and so forth. I numbered each baggie the same way. When I was done I put the mold in my freezer for 5 mins. then bagged them. I know...sounds very tedious but, it wasn't that bad. I had fun. =)

Sounds like you are off to a good start. And its not to late to sign up for Januarys scent of the month. Good luck.

I usually make a "batch" of samples all at once using one scent. Just melt a bar or several squares from your bar in that small candy mold. Same proces you followed but just one scent. Should be a lot quicker and make a lot more.
There are also a lot of ideas on the Scentsy Forums.

I didn't do it that way because I don't have a candy melter and I just got my kit. I'll probably only make one scent the next time around. Just was trying out different things and using what I already had.
