So I am transferring my question to this area :)

So, I learned that several of my posts were "ghosted" but I believe I have taken all appropriate precautions.

First, I only create one total post daily, and I rotate my posts between my two locations, so I never have two consecutive posts in the same geographic location.

Second, I followed the instructions provided in SindeeLou's initial email (I've pasted below):
FOR EXAMPLE
If your Cities are St. Louis & Kansas City.....
Monday post in Business For Sale in St. Louis
Tuesday post in Business for Sale in Kansas City
Wednesday post in Business For Sale in St. Louis
Thursday post in Business for Sale in Kansas City

Now, I do recognize that her instructions above seem to violate the "wait 3 days before posting again in that city" policy- do you think that is the problem?

I am posting in "For Sale" -->"Business/Commercial" as advised by SindeeLou as well, so I don't believe that I am posting in the wrong area?

Anyways, for those of you who rarely get "ghosted," I'd love to know if what I'm doing (above) needs to be tweaked- thanks for all the help!!!

I wish I had some great tips for you. "CS" is so tricky.

I'm a newbie here too. I don't know much about the rules and regulations - but I would recommend to just take a deep breath, look around, introduce yourself, be polite and nice - all and all be civil. Imagine you are entering some club or restaurant where you don't know anyone. I guess you wouldn't go in shouting out to everyone, but go in quietly, feel the atmosphere, maybe smile a little - than go dancing :)

I just got one flagged and I think they took it down after one flagging because I didn't see it anymore. The ghosting, I started posting one city under internet explorer and the other city under another web browser, flock. Before I post now, I erase my cookies and history. I also don't immediately look at the post like I use to in the email they send us. I wait over 30 mins or later to search the site itself, then I send my link to Sindee for confirmation. I still got flagged with this technique though, so use your best judgment.

Thanks Michelle!

Are you posting every day (alternating cities) or are there days that you are physically not posting a single thing?

Actually, you should wait the full three days and this may well be the issue. I will talk with Sindee.

With that being said. You can post more often than every three days just do not post the same or similar ad (you may well have posted this way and correctly)

Changing your browser and clearing your cookies are great things to do.

I will also tell you this.......There is no rhyme or reason.......I know thats of little comfort but we have a few whams that know how to post somewhere around say 30 ads per week and may only get two or three flagged or ghosted........Don't ask me how because I can't even do that.

Yes, I would love to see no ads being flagged or ghosted. But the reality is they will be. Thats why I still pay for them. You can do everything right, you can be selling a toaster, place it in the right category at a fair price and still get flagged.

I know thats totally different, but don't fret too much and don't let it get to you.

I only post 1 ad every 3 days. There's nothing you can do about ghosting or flagging. I have tried. Just got ghosted today on the other city.

Ok thanks for the extra feedback! I really appreciate the post- it is comforting :)
