View Full Version : Any tricks to get "in the mood"?

Hi,

Sorry in advance if TMI, but I would love to hear from others in similar situations!

I just have NO sex drive at all lately. Poor hubby has actually been really understanding about it, but I just feel so bad because if it were up to me, I wouldn't have sex again until loooong after this baby is here!

I felt like this a little bit with my other two, but not nearly as bad. I think part of it is I'm just so dang tired chasing around toddlers all day AND being pregnant, that sex sort of is put on the back burner.

But I would LIKE to have at least a little bit of desire back -- any advice or tips that might help?

TIA!

Liz

I hear ya. My body hurts and I feel so fat. I'm not in the mood much at all.

I follow a "fake it til ya make it" philosophy. Once I actually get going, then I enjoy it. It's just getting it started that's the hard part.

Of course, everyone is different....you could always try to do something that might put you in the mood like taking a bath or reading/watching some erotica...

Love,
Shannon

Good on you for admitting that one. hahaha.

That's something that I actually enjoy doing sometimes, but I hate it if there's an *assumption* that if you don't feel like having sex, you should "at least" give a BJ. Makes me feel trashy and used (and not it the good way. smileys/smiley9.gif).
