I created this for extended family of Army as a way to stay connected. From my research and in talking to a lot of other Army parents, there is great information for spouses and immediate family, but not so much for parents of soldiers and extended family.

Patty I will get this to my sis. Both of her sons are in also. Her oldest is on his 5th deployment. I think she is going through some depression.. Please keep her in your thoughts. Thank you for all you do. Hugs.

Hi Lisa,

Yes, please do send her over and thank you! My sons are still stateside having just graduated, but one of them did tell him that his unit is scheduled for deployment in August of 2009.

I'm going to be doing a press release soon, too, which will hopefully get more traffic. I've just been so busy lately, I haven't had time to get the word out as much as I've liked.

military.com is a good one and yes they will e-mail with the latest news, they also have a section for jobs and spouse careers. Check them out.

For those seeking jobs and/or free training, I suggest checking out www.msccn.org (http://www.msccn.org). It's a non-profit organization that assists military spouses, caregivers of wounded warriors, vets, vet spouses, etc...pretty much anyone that is military affiliated. So, feel free to check it out. They are 100% legit. :)
