How is everyone doing??
I've lost 5lbs in the past 2.5-3 weeks - eating right, doing Turbo Jam and getting to the gym a couple times a week.

chrlstoncharmed - GOOD for you!!!! I am also doing well, using a site called Fitday.com REALLY helps!!! I have lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks. I was at the Dr today & she was paging through papers, back & forth, back & forth, she says, wow, is this right? You lost 5 lbs since your last visit 2 weeks ago? I told her yes! She said GREAT! Keep on it! She wrote down the website to check out & recommend to patients! I HIGHLY recommend it! It is SO useful & lets me know that I can't have that extra snack before bed when I have exceeded my limits! It also tells me my goals & nutrition, as well as my calories being burned & how they are being burned! It's GREAT!

Good job ladies! I am so excited for summer this year. I have been on the raw food diet for almost a year and I am down 20-25lbs. I am not really losing weight anymore. I feel like I am just about where I need to be, but I notice my body is still changing. Cellulite is almost gone and my shape is still changing. I have to admit that I haven't worked out a whole lot, but plan to start running when the weather gets nicer. I am a wimp!

Great job ladies!

I've maintained38 lbs loss for over a year now. I slacked a littleduring the holidays and went up 3-4 lbs and quickly lost it by eating clean. I've also just started back running 3 days a week. My start weight was 166 and I'm now 128 (I'm 5'4").

Keep up the awesome work everyone!

I started back on like Dec. 1 and I've lost 44 pounds, lots of inches and gained muscle back. My trainer told me conceivably I've lost upwards of 50+ pounds but gained some back in muscle. I lost 5 pant sizes. This is so far.....I was pretty heavy to begin with. So now I need to step it up - it seems I've already hit a plateau. Ugh! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif

Since Jan. 12th, I have lost 14.4 lbs. Overall since starting my new lifestyle, I have lost over 67 lbs. It was more but I gained back some last summer so I'm working hard at getting that back off.

I have also been keeping a food journal faithfully since Jan. 17th. I use The Daily Plate (http://www.thedailyplate.com) to keep track of my food. I am counting calories, staying right about 1700 as that's what the nutritionist recommended. She said anywhere between 1600-1800 because of how much I work out.

Let's see, hubby and I joined a gym and have been going on a consistant basis now for just over a month. We absolutely love it. I also hired an online personal trainer (http://www.trainerforce.net/busymomma/plans.asp) who has been an online friend for a few years now.

Anyway, Kev and I are getting ready to book our return trip to Jamaica for this Dec. so once again that is part of my motivation. He's also working out (we go to the gym a lot together, it's so much fun) and I can't believe it but we are already talking about how we will still workout while on vacation. We'll go to the big fitness center the resort has every morning for our cardio and we'll walk the long beach too. Can't wait!

Dang, Angie!!!! 67 pounds! You're my new hero! I do pretty well - still need to lose about 30-40 but sometimes I get discouraged. Like now, before my period and a little flare up of a condition I have which puts me on prednisone for a while. First off...CONGRATS to all you braggers...you DEFINITELY deserve to brag!
So now off to my brag....I am about 1 year into losing weight and I have lost 60lbs. I did put on 3lbs bringing me to 178 but I dropped those off now and I am back to 175 and ready to lose my final 10.
I have lost several inches and have dropped 10 pants sizes! Went from a 22 to a size 12 (And sometimes I can wear a 10).
But I am most proud at the fact that I feel so much better about myself!!!!!

Thank you for your kind words. You have been doing a fabulous job yourself. It's definitely a challenge for sure but don't get discouraged. Be happy for what you have already accomplished because we are all proud of you.

I have 60+ more pounds to go to meet my goal. Oh and I think I do know what it means to you to being here because this is one of the places where I first started my new lifestyle and have kept going because of the support from my online friends.

Donna, you CAN do 10 pant sizes. I went from a size 26/28 and am now in a 12/14. It was a total shock to get into that size, I cried in the storesmileys/smiley36.gif

Way to go ya'll!

I've taken off 33 pounds and kept it off overa year. I feel great! Recently I added Turbo Jam to my morning routine. After a few days of doing 20-30 minute exercises you tend to get addicted! I always feel better after a workout.

Ok well I'll brag!Last year I lost 40lbs in just under 8 months and won $1,000 in the MDB body transformation contest and was able to conceive for the first time in 4 years!

Now some people may think that's dumb i.e. "Why lose all that weight to gain it right back?" Well 2 reasons. One, pregnancy weight gain and Cheeto's weight gain and two different animals. One comes off with the baby, one doesn'tsmileys/smiley36.gif. And 2, better to LOSE weight before getting pregnant than getting pregnant and having to lose double after the baby is born.

Between morning sickness, my ab split and the ligament issue I kinda fell off the workout/healthy eating bandwagon for a hot minute but am following a clean eating plan and am actually down 4 pounds this week. I think my weight gain for the entire pregnancy will stabilize between 35 and 40lbs which is not too bad, especially if I drop half of it by the time I leave the hospital. So anywho, that's my long drawn out bragging sessionsmileys/smiley36.gif

Better late then Never!!!

I started over a year ago and so far I have lost 81lbs. I'm working out with a PT 2x a week, taking spin classes, yoga, pilates, BOSU and anything else the gym has to offer. I'm still struggling with food, either eating to much or not enough.

I'm cruising at the end of the month and for the first time I can get into a bathing suit that doesn't have a skirt on it!!!!

The food thing is a killer. Where to strike a balance? I started by measuring the food groups into 1/4 cup sizes and not going over 1 1/2 cups in volume for a meal. So, between 1 to 1 1/2 cups does it for me.

If course I don't always measure. But every once in a while I do it to get that picture of amounts back in my mind.

We can do it!
