Hello all,

I have reach the amount of body fat I wanted and was wondering how much cardio a week will be enough to hold this level.

Now I am doing 40 minutes of cardio 5 times a week but was thinking to go down to 3 times a week.

Hi Scolly

depends how much your eating habits are changing now that you have reached your goal weight.

Why not gradually readjust until you find the right level? That involves frequently weighing yourself and taking action (eating less/moving more) if your weight starts to creep up.

Thank for your replyJan.

I started to add a little more carbs every week. I am eating around 500 cal more but my weight is still the same after 2 weeks.
So till now I am getting away with 3 times cardio a week.

That sounds as if it about the right level for you then scolly.

I find daily weighing one of the best things to do for weight maintenance - if ever the scales are more than 2lbs above your target weight - take action! Eat less, move a bit more, review your habits to see if some unhealthy ones have crept in - and then you never have to "go on a diet" ever again
