View Full Version : Sweet Tooth, Anyone?

First I have to say, "Darn you Dairy Queen and your stinking ice cream cakes!" LOL!

As I have gotten older I have developed quite a sweet tooth. Most of the time I can curb my sweet craving by having a healthy sweet snack, such as something from Weight Watchers or a banana, frozen grapes, even 100 calorie snack packs. HOWEVER, we had a BBQ Saturday night and my friend brought a huge Dairy Queen ice cream cake and left half of it here as leftovers. I usually don't keep food like that here, but I couldn't throw away something as decadent as that, plus my boys love it (okay, they haven't even eaten any yet, I have!)

My problem is, I have no willpower over the DQ cake. I just had a piece for lunch. I am not on a diet nor am I trying to lose weight, but the fact that I am stuffing DQ ice cream cake into my mouth on a daily basis is going to lead me to need to lose weight. Seriously, this is why I don't bake cookies or brownies often, because I could eat them all in one sitting.

Thank God for my workouts or I would be in trouble from that darn cake.

Anyone else have a sweet tooth and no willpower? How I would so love to be one of those women who say no to anything sweet and won't eat it when it is in their home. Instead, I eagerly say, "Sweet, fattening food? Sure, I'll eat it." Tell me I am not alone......
