View Full Version : 16 lbs down!

Sorry I haven't checked in, but I'm still working at it. It's been 8 weeks now, and I'm down just over 16 pounds! It isn't exactly fast or anything, but I've hardly had to work at it. I've increased my activity primarily getting our house ready to rent. Yard work, installing new baseboards and moldings, sealing the tile grout I installed last month, and just cleaning in general definitely keeps you busy. Tomorrow I'm attempting to install a shower door. Wish me luck!

Two pounds a week on average is pretty good (and pretty safe) I think. I'm happy with that. Our household goods are being packed out next week. I figure I'll take my WATP DVD with me during our move for something I can do in the hotel room.

So, one day at a time, and I'll get there eventually. It's funny how 1 pound or 4 doesn't sound like very much. But now 16 definitely sounds like progress.

Way to go, Deanna! Definitely a safe amount to lose and when you do it the right way, you are more likely to keep it off so good for youhttp://forum.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

Losing weight slowly is kinda like the "penny doubling" each day. You don't realize the amount at first, but over time it does add up!!!
