I figured out what my problem was on the first day, Monday. I was tired (not enough sleep) and I also didn't eat before working out. Tony H. says not to eat at least an hour before the weight/strengtheningworkouts, but I had been up for 3 hours that morning with nothing to eat before the workout! So the rest of the days this week, I have drank a shake about an hour to 1.5 hours beforehand and I have noticed a real difference!!

Yesterday was Yoga X, not "too" bad - a nice break. Wednesday was legs and arms. I did really well with the legs & arms and so I found that my weak areas are actually my chest and back and not my biceps and triceps. My shoulders are on the weak side, too, I think. But that will change! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif I LOVE the leg workouts - they are very challenging, but that's what I love! Today is legs and back, so I'm sure I'll love the leg parts and hate the back parts.

What else? OH, hubby is doing well, BUT he has decided to weigh himself every day...NOT a good idea, but you can't tell him anything! He never used to weigh himself - ever. So he weighed himself on Tuesday and he was down 1.4 lbs. BUT he was up 2 lbs. yesterday and he was angry! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif I told him to stay completely away from the scale for a while and worry about how he feels and how his clothes start feeling because I know that he's probably gaining some more muscle or something. He's eating really clean, so I don't see how he could be gaining any fat. Anyway, he's now scale obsessed, so there's nothing I can do. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I am so happy to hear that you are doing good w/ it. I am deciding if I should get it or not. The thing holding me back is I don't have a pull up bar and as far as weights go, I am limited. Don't want to have to spend more on equipment.

I am so excited for you and your hubby! I can't wait to hear/see your results. Keep us posted.

What kind of shake are you doing?

I definitely recommend this program! It is hardcore, but I think in the end, there will be an awesome payoff!

You know, you don't necessarily need the pullup bar or the weights. Some of those folks use resistance bands throughout the whole video and you can tell they are working just as hard as those who are using the bar and weights.

To the OP, I got a pull up bar from Walmart for $14.95 and it works great! I also got 10lb weights for 5 bucks each. You have to look for the ugly ones lol, they're the inexpensive ones.

I got my P90X last wednesday......I haven't opened it yet

I don't see why not since it's cardio, right (sorry, not familiar with Jazzercise)? Because there is something called P90X Doubles program, and basically you ad in 3 days of extra cardio per week (I think 3, it may be 4 - I will get the book out later and look), so that could be your added cardio. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
