Since you are out resident WATP guru, I need to know about the new Walk Slim program. How does it compare to Turbo Jam as far as intensity goes? I need to give my knees a rest (6 weeks of lunging has done me in) but I don't want to lose intensity/calorie burning either.

I would say Walk Slimis not as intense as some of the TJ workouts but it still is a high calorie burning workout. The boosted walking is basically jogging so as far as giving the knees a rest, I'm not sure since it really is jogging but it is much less intensethan lunging. I honestly think I sweat more doing the 4 mile Walk Slim than I do when I do most Turbo Jam workouts.

I personallylike the intensity and feel I get a great workout every time I do any of the Walk Slim workouts (1-4 miles) but the 4 mile is the most intense as there are 5 sets of the interval training (boosted walking aka jogging).

Walk Slim will probably be totally different from what you are used to but I think it would be a nice change for you.

Thanks! Oh, I wanted to ask you about the ball workouts (Turbo Jam) Is there a lot of lunging/jumping in them? I think the reason I get knee stuff going on with TJ is because I workout on carpet and my sneaks are high tread. I need to get new shoes.

There is jumping/pivoting in the ball workouts but oh so much fun!
