ETA: Pink Pea is so good to see you around here!

Also, have you seen the recent article on beauty companies that are in PETA's bad list now for testing on animals? a couple of direct sales companies are in it as well as top retail brands...

I am so confused. Arbonne says that their products are safe, benficial etc, yet there is a warning notice on the Phyto Prolief that says the product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer! And, that studies have shown that the use of the ingredients in the product may pose a risk to your health.

Is it because it is hormone replacement? Can someone explain?

I'm not a member of Arbonne, but I buy their products religiously and it's because of the high quality ingredients and the company ethics. So for all of you Arbonne members out there, get to know your product because it really is fantastic!

Inpriationswithme.....this is the answer provided by Arbonne:

"A unique California law requires the state to develop a list of chemicals that have been shown, regardless of level of use, to cause either cancer or reproductive harm, and a warning is set out in regulations for any product sold in California that contains such a chemical. Progesterone is one of the listed chemicals, and so PhytoProlief Natural Balancing Cream has that warning. Arbonne has assured itself, and can assure its Consultants and users, that as formulated, PhytoProlief Natural Balancing Cream containing the natural hormone progesterone is safe for your use."

Hope this helps

I just re-ordered some more Fit Essentials items, I am going to get on the program again. I felt so much better when I was following that! I was so surprised that I received a FREE product in my order-The RE9 Advanced Renewal Serum! I am excited to try it! The new packaging is gorgeous and love the new packaging for the Volume Shakes! I used to use some Arbonne before but haven't really tried the RE9 Advanced.

The old serum made my face break out, but this serum looks different and I know it has been reformulated. Also my skin is much drier than it was back then, so maybe this time it will react differently. I put some on the back of my hand it I could see an immediate difference and it smells really good!

I had started another company's skin care because they were having a good deal on their kit- at first I really liked it- but now I am having a hard time with the scent of the product (not liking) and I am not really seeing much change in my skin, so I gave it to my friend.
