Does anyone know about not being able to use any auto responders in Jersey? My prospect told me that she's not able to use any auto responders and that many telemarketing companies are going out of business. I tried to explain that the auto responder people really opted in, but she was set on her view. Could someone explain?

autoresponders is an email marketing system. They have nothing to do with telemarketing. You can purchase opt in leads to upload in your autoresponder. Opt in leads are people who requested more information about your business or offer. So it is permission based leads.

That is what I thought... Thank you! I tried to explain this to my prospect, but she started to argue and I was like o.k. you win.

If this is a prospect I wouldn't even worry about it. How did you all even get on this topic? She probably isn't coachable anyway.

I'm in Jersey and I use autoresponders all the time, maybe she was confusing autoresponders with autodialers which are illegal pretty much everywhere

Maybe. I'm not sure. She was a telemarketer and now she sells furniture. Have you had luck in the members side there?
