Freeware Button/Banner Maker?

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know of a good freeware button/banner maker?

I'm looking for something simple (WYSIWIG)where I pick the ad size, plug in the "link to" URL and set up the text, colors, etc and then it gives me the snippet of code.

--Which brings me to my second question. If I want the button to alternate between two different views/images, is it written in .html code? or am I looking for an animated .giff maker?

I tried something like bannermaker.com and it didn't work for my concept. I think I'd rather download freeware and dink around with it offline.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I use banner maker- I don't think there is a software out their that will give you the code- The code is just a link to whereever you have the banner uploaded to. What I do is I make the banner in banner maker and then upload it to my photobucket account (it's free) and then you can copy the code that photobucket gives you.

What do you guys use the banners for? I made one through a free account, but I don't really know where I can use it at?

I think what Rhonda is looking for is something with flash...Like Susan has..

Would anyone have that info?
