Default Wha is Work at home

A work-at-home scheme is a get-rich-quick scam in which a victim is lured by an offer to be employed at home, very often doing some simple task in a minimal amount of time with a large amount of income that far exceeds the market rate for the type of work. The true purpose of such an offer is for the perpetrator to extort money from the victim, either by charging a fee to join the scheme, or requiring the victim to invest in products whose resale value is misrepresented.

WOW. What a definition. Wouldn't it depend on the type of company you choose and what you have to do?

I think it depends on the business opportunity you choose. They are not all get-rich-quick scams. I am in one that takes time to build but the company has been going for over 15 years. I am really thrilled with what I do and am in for the long haul.

Of course, I don't expect to get rich over night.

That's a narrow definition for working at home. There are so many legitimate ways that you can make money from home. Freelance writing, data entry, website design, whatever way that allows you to use your skills and expertise.

There are definitely more scams around these days. Just do not go for stuff that offers to pay way over the market rate. Or anything that promises the riches with minimum work. Do your research and stay safe.

Dear Josech,
Thank you for sharing your personal thoughts about work at home but next time, before you share your thoughts on something, always first do enough research.

According to your personal reasoning on the matter, its like someone having been disappointed in a relation and then conclude that ALL MEN OR WOMEN are the same.

Therefore, next time before you write or share, do enough research but i would recommend also to always speak in terms of the platform or company you joined and disappointed you rather than generalizing everything.

For others here, allow me to say that Josech thoughts are personal and baseless because he was not even able to give just 5 examples to support his arguments.

Lastly, The work at home program or subject is a hug thing with a lot of activities both online and physical of which one can do to make money from home. So, i request the writer to revise his thinking and reasoning on the same matter

Regards,
Ronnie

Dear Josech there are ways to make a living at home, for example as a Forex Trader where there is money to be made with a little investment you can make a living if you are disciplined enough and have patience.

Kind regards,
Jerome Elswood

Work-from-home is a common thing for a big part of web designers, developers, freelancers
Also, nowadays a lot of other specialists get the opportunity to work from home. But, as I've heard from some of them, it is really better to work in the office. Work from home lifestyle is not suitable for everyone

There is a lot of scammers out there, so beware. There are companies who are Legitimate, not a get-rich-quick scheme.
