I have a couple of two tier systems that I work with. I think the two tier system is sometimes easier to do because the MLM's expect you to buy the product all the time and be in their 'group'. While 2-tier systems do this as well, they're not as pushy about it.
I LOVE looking at that second tier and seeing money that I otherwise would not have made ![]() |

Most of the affiliate programs I'm associated with are single tier, but I have had a couple of two-tier programs over the years. They weren't all that successful for me, but I also didn't do a lot of marketing to recruit other affiliates. The few affiliates that did sign under me never did anything with them.
I would think that to be most successful with a two-tiered you would have to do some coaching with new affiliates. Or recruit the right people who didn't need coaching. ![]() |

I've found you're correct in both statements. But, even though it's important to try and target your recruiting to find self motivated people in practice you do have to point your team at the training the vendor/program owner provides and also provide access to yourself for personal coaching. I do both and also have a free training site of my own that my team find useful.

I have worked with a few two tier programs, but have not really gotten into "recruiting" people.
I enjoy recurring payment programs alot better ![]() |

The bulk of it from my second tier affiliates because, obviously, I was doing no promoting. Are you sure you really understand two tier affiliate programs? I must admit I'm surprised how many of my students don't have a clue about them when they first come to me. Last edited by AllanJames; 02-11-2013 at 01:30 AM. Reason: spelling |

Exactly what the recurring payment will do for you

BTW, there is no such thing as a ongoing profitable website 'without you doing a thing ...'. They all require ongoing activity and social engagement or the rankings drop over time and you end with a dead horse financially. Contrast that with what many my students in 2-tier affiliate programs are achieving when they're making decent money in their first month. |

Recurring payment will pay you as long as the customer stay... so that is a pretty good way to make money.
If you rank sites in the "make money" niche sure it will take a long time with that competition. Rank sites in other niches and it will go much quicker. BTW, I have numerous sites I have not touched for years and they still make money. Google for sure want you to be active on your sites, but there are other ways to drive traffic than using Google... I am not trying to say that your program does not work, I wouldn`t know cause I have not tried it, this all started with me saying I prefer recurring payment... and I still do cause it pays my bills ![]() Quote:

The question I asked is : How many of you know about multi tier affiliate marketing (not MLM) programs and the advantages of them? Last edited by AllanJames; 02-13-2013 at 01:42 AM. Reason: spelling |
