I made money a few days after selling at eBay, a few weeks selling books at Amazon's Kindle bookstore, a month after setting up shop at Fiverr, and months from affiliate commission through my website.

I guess you make money when you sell something in a marketplace that has an appetite for what you are selling.

Just my 2 cents.

Yea, I actually ended up making something after a few weeks with Amazon. I was shocked but thrilled. I understand SEO much better and that's what helped me.

It took me 6 months to see any money in my online efforts. That was way back in 2008. Then another 6 months before I could build the income up to a substantial sum.

Hasn't been so easy for me by now I am juggling all kinds of online earning methods with varying success.

I started out by selling books on Amazon; quick, easy money. Then, I decided to create my own website and got advertising money within a month. I worked really REALLY hard and prayed a lot, too. Took a lot of time during that month-or-so to build up my site and gain traffic but it paid off

I started making money online 4 years ago but it wasn't anything to brag about. I started making over $1,000 a month last year.
