The key is that you don't HAVE to do everything all at once. Pick one thing and get going with it, then pick something else, etc. And check what the results are that you're getting so you won't spend a lot of time on something that doesn't work for you. Good luck! Elisabeth |

Use catchy headlines to capture people's attention. Your content should be optimized for search engines and your keywords should target long tail keywords with high search volume and low competition. Go where people hang out in your niche and start interacting with them on places such as forums, facebook groups, twitter, youtube, and so on.

I am looking for your new post about this stuff and I found this one. Great stuff. I am looking for this. I will surely go with article marketing because I am not doing this in any of my campaigns. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the article idea....hadn't thought of that. I've written several blog posts and getting little traffic except when I share them with facebook or twitter. Articles should give another avenue of possible traffic...thanks for sharing!

These are great tips. It's easy to get overwhelmed with new tasks and ideas, especially when you're first getting started with marketing your blog or site. The best thing to do, I think, is to choose a handful of things and get started - remembering to go back and pay close attention to what worked (and what didn't.)
All niches are different. In some niches, guest posting is going to be the best way to get backlinks. In others, another tactic might work better - such as focusing on contests, engaging social media, and building your newsletter subscribers. There aren't any rules, really, you just have to get started, see what works and keep doing THAT. ![]() |
