Hi, Jan - I haven't used fiverr for back links; I have bought links in the past and have found this helps quite a bit.

thanks for the tips.. there are some ideas listed here that I have never thought of.. I have often thought about paying an seo expert to help my website rank better but it's hard to know who is legit and also delivers value for money.

Great tips! I just wrote my first article this week to submit to article directories. You can also increase your backlinks by submitting your site to Social Bookmarking sites (There is a free auto bookmarking tool on imautomator.com) and you can also submit your site to seo link directories ( free auto directory submitter can be found on the imtalk.org forum.

I disagree about paying someone to do your backlinking is going to get you in trouble.

Google really can't tell if you created a backlink or someone else did.

And if paying someone to do your backlinking could really get your site in trouble, then everyone would just pay people to setup backlinks to their competition.

I support your idea. I like to make backlinks on high page rank directory only. It's better to have just 100 back links on those rather than have 1000 backlinks on useless website. In this case, writing article is the best technique to do so.
