Thumbs up Lose weight by ditching the diet. Welcome to the MonaVie weight management plan.

Most of us want to lose weight by burning fat and building lean muscle. We want to boost our metabolism and increase our energy levels.

We want to have the energy to workout, look and feel our very best, without restriction.

This program is all about how to achieve those goals. It is all about how to stabilize our blood sugar with the RVL Weight Management System and the right foods. What is the role of blood sugar in the body? Glucose (or sugar) in the bloodstream
is responsible for fueling our nervous systems and creating the bulk of our body’s energy.

By stabilizing blood sugar levels with RVL products and the right foods, we create balance (homeostasis) within our bodies. Our bodies then release what is not needed (like stored body fat, toxins, and excess sodium) while protecting our lean muscle mass and igniting our metabolisms.

Here’s how it works:

Whenever we overeat or indulge in a carbohydrate-heavy meal, our blood sugar spikes (above 120 mg/dl) and our bodies store fat.

When we skip a meal, or workout on an empty stomach, we deprive our bodies of the carbohydrates and calories needed to thrive. Blood sugar levels drop too low (below 80 mg/dl) and our bodies are forced to burn lean muscle mass for fuel in place of body fat. This loss of lean muscle slows our metabolisms, making it nearly impossible to reach our goals.

Although we may eat “healthily,” we fail to eat “correctly,” inadvertently causing spikes and crashes in blood sugar levels all day long! Stabilizing blood sugar will naturally help us look and feel our best. We begin to burn body fat, protect and increase lean muscle mass, eliminate sugar (carbohydrate) cravings, boost our energy levels, and break through stubborn plateaus.

There are three factors that help stabilize blood sugar:

1. Meal Intervals
2. Nutrient Ratios
3. Meal Size

The program is all about balance. We should feel ready to eat before a meal and satisfied afterward. If we are not hungry for our next meal, we may have eaten too much and should cut down on our portions. If we are hungry before the three-hour mark, we may have eaten too little and should increase the portion size of the meal. The key is to listen to your body and fuel it accordingly every few hours.
