Amanda,

I don't know anything about RN training or even if that is something that can be done online, but if you already have a medical background and want to train for a career at home, Career Step has been training healthcare professionals for over 20 years.

They accept MyCAA funding, that is a program that offers eligible military spouses $4,000 to put toward training that will help them gain the skills they need to find jobs in growing career fields that have opportunities nationwide and can transfer with them.

Career Step offers programs in Medical Coding, Medical Billing, Medical Transcription, Pharmacist Assistant and Medical Office Assistant. It's completely online and self-paced so you could take the training with you as you move.

I think being a nurse is a great career, but if you can't complete the training while moving around a lot, Career Step might be something to consider.
