A traditional Japanese dish. Serve with tonkatsu sauce and shredded cabbage and/or miso soup.

4 pork chops
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ cup flour
1 egg
½ cup panko bread crumbs
vegetable oil, for frying
Tonkatsu sauce, for serving


Step 1
Sprinkle the pork with salt and pepper; flour lightly.D ip the pork in beaten egg and roll in panko bread crumbs. Fry the cutlets in 320F oil for a few minutes; turn and fry a few more minutes. Drain on a paper towel.
