For a $199 investment, you get the starter kit which includes training videos, a success plan and promotional materials such as invitation postcards, customer order forms and catalogs. The company offers certain promotions where you can get a few hundred dollars worth of free jewelry to use in your trunk shows. You also get a large discount on any additional samples that you purchase. You can apply through the Stella & Dot website or by calling their home office. Before you sign up, you can connect to a seasoned stylist who will act as your sponsor and guide you through the process. Once you secure a sponsor, you can register on the website. After you register, you'll have access to online training tools and national training events and conferences. These tools will help you develop a plan that will allow your business to thrive.


Stylists at Stella & Dot earn commissions on all sales they make. You receive 25% personal retail earnings on women's jewelry and 15% personal retail earnings on girls' jewelry. You also earn a 5% volume rebate if you reach $2800 dollars in monthly retail sales. The majority of your sales will come from trunk shows. The average trunk show brings in $1000 in sales, resulting in a $300 commission for the stylist. If you want to work part-time and schedule 1 trunk show per week, you can expect to make $1200 a month or around $14,400 per year. Full-time stylists who host 5 shows per week may earn up $6000 a month or $72000 a year.
