Pita Pizza Snacks

Looking for a great healthy alternative snack for your kids? These are great to serve when the kids have friends over!

2 (4 inch) whole wheat pitas
¼ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
¼ cup sliced mushrooms
1 package Pepperoni slices (optional)


Step 1-Split pita breads in half and top each half with tomato sauce, cheese, green pepper, pepperoni and mushrooms.

Step 2-Place on paper towel lined serving plate and microwave 1 1/2 to 2 min or until cheese melts, rotating plate after half the time.
