One of the best hiring opportunities for job seekers with disabilities or those with other employment challenges is to attend a ‘Virtual’ Online Job Fair!
Attending a Virtual Job fair is also a great learning experience as they are becoming more common. Many employers often hire qualified job seekers the same day or soon after a Virtual fair and can easily share their company job information and even interview in an online chat room if they choose.
There are many advantages of Online job fairs especially this year! Job seekers do not have to worry about traveling far or a special wardrobe. To attend an online fair, you will need an Internet connection and a computer or mobile device.
My Employment Options (MEO) has been hosting online fairs for over 6 years. They host their fairs to give back to communities and to help job seekers nationwide connect to recruiters, especially during these challenging times with the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair also helps employers to be exposed to a diverse candidate pool.
Online Job Fairs are a great way to network with recruiters from across the country. Employers may have Work at Home jobs at the fair and could be looking for qualified candidates in your state. Some employers may also have jobs in certain cities outside the home.
Free for job seekers! Job seekers can attend any time during fair hours on Sept 15th
(Hours: 9am to 4pm CDT.) The event day takes place on the website platform CareerEco.com.
You Do Not have to qualify for MEO’s disability work program. All job seekers are welcome!
