2¼ cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Jello chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped
Step 1 Mix flour and baking soda.
Step 2 Combine shortening, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Step 3 Beat in eggs.
Step 4 Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff.
Step 5 Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Step 6 Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. .
