Last week we asked WAHM.com readers to share their New Year's Resolutions.
We will be checking in with them again at the end of the year to see how they do.
To accomplish one major task a day in order for the day to feel successful, become more organized, declutterize the house, and have my new business up and running so that I can keep my home day care enrollment low and still have an acceptable income.
1. Quit my current job and start the at-home business I have been dreaming of.
2. Read to my children every day.
3. Take time for myself every day.
lose all the weight I want to by the end of the year
To increase my income, launch a newsletter, and teach some classes. To spend one night a week playing board games with my kids, and one night a week taking an individual child out on a "date." Also, a once a week field trip for the two daughters I am hometeaching.
*Lose 25lbs. and continue exercise
program.
*Work on being truly present when I
am with my kids-not distracted with
work or home project stuff.
*Increase my part time work slightly to increase income by an average of 250 per month.
1. Create a new line of products that can be sold separately from a total wedding package.
2. Continue working on unique bridal designs to debut a new line in Spring 2000.
3. Advertise and Market.
To lose 20 pounds. To get my WP home business off the ground (I just started 12/97). To spend 1 hour/day on ME - either reading, hot baths, meditating.
The only one I could handle (maybe) is to get my entire house and office unpacked and organized. It will be interesting to see if I accomplish that by the end of the year...
1. finding someone who's willing to pay, after I've found out what I'd like doing most.
2. completing my collection of children short stories.
3. becoming a La Leche League Leader
My resolution is to make my Tri-Chem and crafting business my only home employment. Become a Division Manager with Tri-Chem. Quit my transcribing work.
1)Lose I think 15 pounds (or wear a size 10, whatever # of pounds that is)2)Exercise MINIMUM 3 times a week, 4x average,5x great,more=SUPERMOM!
3)Keep all credit card debt down to MAX $1000, preferably pay off every month
4)Do at least one luxurious "pamper" thing every single week- paint nails, or soak in tub, or shave and moisturize legs, or get hair cut, or even just style hair with curling iron and blow dryer instead of ponytail holder! But do SOMETHING, every single week.
(It's week 2 and I haven't broken this one yet, YIPPEE!)
