Default I am new here: questions

Hi!

I am thinking about joining with xpress healthcare and have some questions that I wanted to have answered before jumping in.

First, how does this work if someone has insurance? Can you present the card at the same time as you would pay your co-pay? Or, if you use the xpress healthcare benefits, do you not use your insurance? This part doesn't make sense to me, how it would be a benefit to have if you have insurance. I have looked on the main site and can't really get that exact question answered.

Second, are the fees on the website monthly? If you are a ABO, how much do you pay a month? $49 for the membership and how much for use of the back office? I know that this is dependent on each person, but on average for you all, how long did it take to break even?

What if you have the opportunity to sign up a healthcare provider to be on the list? Do you get credit for that?

I am pretty excited about this company. I have found nothing but good comments and feedback about it and I have been searching every which way I can think of to find something negative.

You guys seem like a really supportive group and it is great to see/read.

Thanks for any feedback!

Hi Cehcr,

Thank you for visiting our Xpress Healthcare folder. Welcome!

If you have insurance and Xpress Healthcare, they can not be used together on the same visit. You would just compare your options and use the one that will work better for each case. We have discounts on alot of things that are not covered by some traditional insurances.

It is $99/month to be an ABO. This includes the Xclusive Plan for your entire family, websites, autoresponders, webinars, training, corporate email address, etc

At this time there is no compensation for referring a healthcare provider. If your provider is not listed, there is an option on the websites to nominate them.

We are all Xcited about our businesses as well. You will find alot of support from everyone in Xpress. You have access to the best!

Just let us know if you have any further questions. We are all happy to help.

Hello Cehcr,
Welcome to the Xpress Healthcare forum. I'm really glad that you are taking the time to ask your questions and do your research. I was the same way when I was considering what company I wanted to work with. I had to kind of chuckle when you said that you've been trying to find something negative about Xpress. We really are a unique company as our motto is People Above Profits - and they really stand behind that motto. I haven't been able to find anything negative about us either!!

As ABOs, we are constantly getting new features to make our jobs better and easier. The marketing back office is incredible and being able to take our company for a 2 week test drive is really the icing on the cake. You can do exactly what we're all doing, participate in the training calls and use all the websites provided to us. When you have a question or need some guidance, there are so many people that are here to help you - just take a look at all the folks on this board. We all work together for everyone's success because we're all a family. It's a great feeling.

Feel free to call any of us and we'll be able to answer any more of your questions. Shana did a great job addressing the ones in your post, but I'm sure more will come up.

Wishing you all the best!

Cehcr ~

Hi Cehcr, I know Shana answered your questions for you regarding using our plans with insurance. As Shana said, our plan does offer services that the majority of insurance does not. I have very good health insurance, but my insurance does not cover Chiropractor, medical supplies as well as some prescriptions that I need. In addition, our plans have discounts on Dental and Vision that are better than what my insurance covers, I haven't needed hearing services so I haven't compared those differences.

We also offer the lifestyle discounts on PetCare, Roadside Assistance, Lifelock & Legal Access. Basically, our plans are super affordable for everything you are getting :-)

I wish you luck in making your decision to join Xpress. All of us will help you in any way we can.

Take Care
Candi

Thank you everyone for your responses.

That helps to clear up the insurance/ no insurance question.
What about alternative care? Candi, you mentioned chiropractic care, I thought that I read that alternative care was not offered. Did I read wrong? That would be great if it was and would make it such an easy decision for me!!
As a nurse and an acupuncturist, alternative care is pretty important to me, that is actually what my family uses more than our PCP!

Thank you again for all the question answering!
Carrie

Hi Carrie,

Glad to see a fellow nurse here. I am also an advocate of natural health. I am pursuing my ND now (hopefully I will complete the degree before I am too old to use it).

We do have chiropractic discounts, so if the acupuncture was done at one of our providers there should be a discount. Listed in our discount plan booklet, under Chiropractic Care, it states save 30% on treatments and most other services. To me, acupuncture would fall under this.

We do not have discounts on other alternative tx like naturopathy, aromatherapy, etc at this time.

Everyone did a great job xplaining things and answering your questions.

I do want to clarify one issue about using Xpress when you have health insurance. I have blue Cross insurance, full coverage. However, I discovered that they not only don't cover all medications, the co-pay due on prescriptions is usually higher than the discounted rate I pay using my Xpress membership.

Just last week, I went to pick up a new Rx. My insurance did not cover it at all, so I would have paid $63 for the Rx. Instead, I used Xpress and paid only $25! I'm on a few maintenance drugs that I fill every 90 days. Using Xpress, I save $157 every 90 days over what I'd pay in co-pays with Blue Cross.

Insurance definitely has its place, and for those who can afford it or receive it through their employer, it is great to have. For those w/o insurance, however, or to use as a supplement (like I do), Xpress Healthcare has amazing products that I am proud to sell.

When you're ready to join Xpress cehcr, check out any of our websites (shown in our signatures below our postings) and contact the person of your choice. In fact, you can contact a couple and decide who you would like to work with. Although any one of us would be pleased to work with you, we'll also cheer you on no matter whose team you join.

Hi again!

What is the deal with some of the states not "allowing" discount healthcare options, or only part of the benefits (like FL). I am in fairly close proximity to Washington, so I want to make sure that I understand completely.

Shana, good for you! I played around with the idea of getting my ND and in the end settled on acupuncture. Sometimes I still think about it, but, the mountain of student debt that I have from acu school is enough to stop me. Where are you getting your degree from?

Thanks! I hope some of you are getting some sun! I sure am not! Cloudy Oregon!

Cehcr ~

To answer your question we are not able to sell our plans in WA, UT, VT & KS as they have laws that prevent the selling of benefit plans. I think there is a POSSIBILITY of being able to sell in WA & KS in the future as I believe a license is required, but to my understanding we wont be able to sell in VT & UT unless their laws change. I may have UT & VT backwards, but I know Xpress is looking at all of our options for selling to the two states in the future. At this time, we just don't advertise in the four states.

As far as FL is concerned, they have a law stating you can't sell plans over $40, so if someone is interested in our Xclusive package, they can purchase the Premium Plus ($29.95) & the Lifestyle Select ($19.95) instead of the Xclusive. Together these two packages offer the same benefits as the Xclusive and are the same price. So Florida really isn't a problem.

I hope that helps.

Hello Cehcr,
Candi gave you great information, but just a bit off on the states. Currently WA/UT/VT/KS will not allow our type of business in their states. We are working with KS and VT to see what the requirements would be that would need to be met in order to offer our plans in their states. As of now UT and WA will not allow us to offer our plans ever in their states.

Although those four states don't allow our plans, you would still be able to build your own team of Affiliate Business Owners across the entire United States as well as offering our discount plans to folks in 46 out of the 50 states, which is still a pretty big pool of potential customers.

Happy Valentine's Day to you!
