Default Slightly ot-what is your typing speed?

I don't know that I'd even consider typing speed that off topic since it makes a huge difference in how much money you earn doing this work. I think there have been threads about this, but I couldn't find one. So how fast do you all type? I've got to be the slowest typist here. Does anyone type 50 wpm or less?

The last time I was tested, I typed 75 wpm. That was when I'd worked as a reporter, and I know that my typing speed has gotten faster since I've been freelancing. I think that I probably approach 85-90 now.

I believe it was around 80 the last time I took a test.

I was at 80+ last time I took a test, too. I can really get on a roll when the ideas are flowing freely from brain to keyboard.

Well for a "typing test" around 90 WPM since I used to do data entry. But that is when I am looking at exactly what to write. When I am working, it is probably closer to 75-80 I would think.

I average between 85-95 WPM and when I'm on a roll, I can type up to 105 WPM. Those computer classes in school definitely helped, lol.

I type between 80 to 90 wpm depending on what I'm typing. Numbers will slow me down because my laptop lacks a 10-key pad.

Last time I tested I was 75. I think I may have improved now though.

I tested not too long ago and my speed is 80-85 WPM. It's really more like 90-100, but after counting off for typos, that's about the speed I am. I make a lot of typos. :-(.
