I feel ya. I was sick 24 hours a day until about week 16. I actually had to take a leave of absence from my job for about 4 of those weeks. Eventually I was prescribed an anti nausea med. which I only took when it was really bad. One thing that did end up helping was the acupressure wrist bands you buy for sea sickness. I bought one at Sharper Image which gave a small electrical shock to the inside of your wrist. It really helped. Preggie pops also helped when the nausea was not real bad, but still there.

As far as the exhaustion, not much you can do. That little peanut sucks the life out of you when you are pregnant. By the way congrats to all you WAHM on your pregnancies!!!

The ONLY thing that helped my morning sickness was drinking flat pepsi before I got out of bad. No clue why that helped, but it did.

I can't be much help, I didn't start writing until right after I gave birth. Typing while breastfeeding was a lot of fun lol.

Congratulations! Everything happens for a reason.

Don't push yourself. Your debt will still be there after you give birth. Going to school while pregnant is hard enough. Give yourself some slack with writing.

It may help for you to get a digital voice recorder and "write" your articles into that by voice and type them when you feel up to it.

No real advice... I have blocked out the rigors of pregnancy, I think, LOL. But congratulations to the preggie mamas!!

ETA: I lied, I do have advice: ask your doctor/midwife about a B complex vitamin. That can help with morning sickness, and I *think* you can take it along with your regular prenatal, but I don't remember for sure, so definitely ask first!

Aw man, prenatals did my stomach in.

Basically, you just have to find what works best for your body. Each of my three pregnancies were different. Only my middle child is the one I suffered through with it... I think I was nauseous with her until I felt flutters. Flutters sorta feels like there are butterflies in your belly. The other two lasted only a few weeks, maybe a month.

Aside from morning sickness, I really enjoyed pregnancy. I loved watching the babies move. It's amazing what antics they come up with inside the womb. It seemed every time I would rest something on my belly while sitting down, my youngest would kick it off. Like.. a remote control for the TV. The funny thing is, that today she doesn't like to have weight laying on her. If I try tro rest my arm on her she pushes it off.

Okay, okay, way off topic there, but I'm just tickled that you all are having babies!

About nursing while typing... isn't it amazing what women can accomplish?
