Default TCA tiers

I started with TCA over a year ago and did about six articles. I got a tier review after I requested one and got moved up to tier 2. I've since done another five articles. Do I need to request another tier review, or should I wait for them to evaluate my work on their own time? I'm hoping to move up a tier or two if possible, so I'm wondering if writers have to request tier reviews after the initial one or do they do it automatically?

You should put in a request.
I stayed at lower levels for a long time because I didn't know that!

While we're on this topic, does anyone know if they do tier reviews if you only do rewrites? I don't even know if there are different tiers for rewrites but that's all I do there. It's quick, easy money for me.

I know that they don't count rewrites the same as regular article work. I too used to do the rewrites because they were so easy. I sent an email asking for a tier change and was told that only regular articles count towards that. I ended up submitting maybe 10 articles and got moved up to tier 2. I haven't done rewrites or regular articles in several months, so I haven't attempted to move up to tier 3. Hope this helps

As far as I understand rewrites do not qualify for tier reviews. I've heard it's easy money though. How long does it usually take you to do a rewrite? I look at those rates and I just can't bring myself to do them.

I'd say about 5 or 10 minutes depending upon the length and how much the keyword needs used. I haven't really timed myself though, maybe I should LOL I do know I made $50 there last week just doing them when I needed a quick break.

That makes it sound a little more appealing :-D I'm starting to think I'm just nitpicky when doing rewrites and that's probably why it takes me so long to do them. It's good to hear there's earning potential though!

I honestly don't do them in Word, just the box they provide. I don't do any real proof reading, just do the rewrite and submit. I think that's why they go so fast for me.

That's probably the best way to do it. I might give it a try and see how I get on.
