Question Wow. Gotta LOVE the spin.

Researching today, I ran across an article.... Just... Wow. I'm so sick of seeing this crap!

"Outside courtesy into your coworkers, be sure that your cubicle decor is in line but not offensive to everybody else in the office. Consist of products that may perhaps be distracting along with other people reducing their productivity. Your cubicle decor ought not to include anything with crude jokes, pin up models, derogatory joke items or some different that is considered offensive. In case you are unsure a good accessory, it might be advisable to cure it by and large as to not create any conflict."

Ooookkk...

Just thought I'd share.

I really hope this person didn't pay for this content. It makes me sick because so many advertise, ohhh I can write $2 per 500 word article and it's like, yeah, really? You probably suck. I know that sounds harsh, but I'm sick of work being eaten up by people who write crappy for less. But, that also shows the judgement of the client, so I'm probably better off without them. I just can't believe it! Ugh!

Sometimes it works in our favor though until the client wises up. I once came across a gig on odesk that paid 0.02 a word to rewrite content. From the wording I could tell it was written by someone who used some type of spinning service or something. For a while I was stumped as to what the client was doing because I could see where he hired someone to write the article then sent it to me for rewrites. But, it only lasted two weeks before the client just gave it a rest altogether.

It's like a literary masterpiece...... Gave me the shivers.

Actually, it reads a little like it went through the automatic spin cycle.

I see articles like that all the time, and always wonder who on earth thought that was acceptable to post on their website. I never realized it was written with one of those spin software programs, I just thought it was written by someone who spoke zero English.

Yeah, sometimes it's fun trying to figure out if the article was spun or written by someone with no English skills. I wish we could take bets or something, lol.

On the plus side, some spun articles work really well as thesauruses. I've seen some and thought "interesting choice of words..." Then I'll use it in an article later on down the road.

Yea, the worst part is that people scrape content people like us wrote and run it through these spinning programs so it passes Copyscape, and then they post this garbage in mass quantities online. Awesome.
