Default New Freelance Writing Job I Found - MoneyStance - $20 Per Article

I have had this bookmarked for 2 months, but now I want to share it with you all. I haven't done anything to get on with MoneyStance, but it sounds interesting. The article rate is $20 per article, but it is weird how they hire writers. Anyway, if you want to check it out:

I just checked it out but it has a very spammy feel, from the pop-up when you first visit to the way in which you have to "qualify." I'll be interested to see if anyone has any experience with them.

I used an email I direct any spam to and this is what I found...

You first have to join their Money Club (1000 points), then you have to post two reviews or forum threads it looks like (500 for the 1st and 50 to 100 points each), create a blog and make two posts (400 points). Once you've reached 3,000 points, you have to email to ask to be reviewed for Tier II. If they approve you, you then write more reviews for $1 to $10 each (depends on quality so they say) and reviews MUST BE at least 1,000 words.

So even if you ever reach the $20 per review level, your reviews of 1,000 words makes this 2 cents a word. But you have to do a lot of penny or less per word work to reach that stage.

Now, this is another thing I try to find. Per a 2010 report, the site was pulling in about $409 a month in revenue, before Panda, after Panda Alexa shows their traffic dropped by half. That makes me really question, even if they have writers making the $20 per article, just how much work there really is available.
