Has anyone here been asked to test for the new curator and VC positions yet? I'm still waiting...

I haven't either. I wonder how many writers they actually have... I still have articles claimed that I haven't done yet, though, so I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

I've been with WG for about a year and a half, and they haven't asked me to test yet. Still have about a dozen articles left in my queue, which I should hopefully be able to finish up in the next couple days.

I've been on with WG for about 6-7 months so I wouldn't expect a quick test offer, however I'm not sure if they are going by seniority, which would make sense. Carolyn or Catherine, I can't remember which, sent me an email just before the queue closed saying how she hopes I will decide to take on one of the new roles. I thought the curator role would be kind of fun, but I think I'm going to go for the VC role instead because I have no formal editing experience. I still got articles I need to finish, (about 10) before the 31st if I still want to get paid. I've been doing other stuff this month.

I did read something about how they were going to send out 1099's at the end of January and we should probably all have them sometime during the first week of February. Has anybody got their's already?
