Merchant Circle's New Layout???

Hi ladies,

I went to MC a little while ago to sign in and see if I could snag some articles (silly me, right ). However, after I logged on it didn't give me an option to check for articles. I know they let go of a lot of writers and even dropped everyone by one level (that happened to me) but I thought we were still able to access the site and check for new articles. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The problem is that there are no new articles as far as I understand it. They dropped the levels of the remaining writers to get a faster turnaround on the remaining articles and give everyone a chance to grab a few. I think they are supposed to send out an email if more work ever becomes available, but I'm not holding my breath for that.

I'm pretty sure, and to confirm you'd have to go look up last week's posts, but MC basically told everyone they're done. The content they need is done and they're not offering more work for now, regardless of what level you are.

MC is offically over.

I got a "Welcome to the new and improved Merchant Circle" email from them yesterday. I STILL haven't gotten the "you're done" email though. Of course, I only wrote 5 things there.

** I just checked out of curiosity. If you login, it will take you to the writer / article claim page. It looks like I could claim articles if any were available. And if I wasn't at a "Level 0"!

I still have access to it. There's obviously not any articles available, but my dashboard still comes up. From what others have said, they received an email that they're done with their content needs, but if they ever need content again, they will send an email to the writers that they waited until the end to get rid of.

I received the new and improved MC email, too. It basically was talking about the benefits they have for merchants.

So, I am logged in and in my "Dashboard" on MC. However, I don't have a "Content Writer" link anymore. Are you saying you still have that link? Something is not right on my end...... or did you post that just before the site went down? Hmmm.....

I logged into merchantcircle.com/contentwriter, which took me to the dashboard. I'm not a big MC writer (as you'll soon see) but everything looks the same to me... Here's what I see:

Well, I still was not seeing what I should have been seeing. So, I logged out and logged back in instead of using refresh and....Walaa! There everything was just as it is supposed to be. Thanks for posting that!
