I have a WriterAccess client who claims she attached some item specs to the order. I don't see an attachment or any way of getting to an attachment. Is she confused, or do I need a specific browser? I put in a help desk question, but it may be 24 hours for the answer. Thanks!

Hey there, Hoping2. I'm a little late seeing this, so you may already have this resolved. I hope so! Just in case...
I don't know if you'v received attachments from a client before or not, but when I first did, I was also confused. If you received an email via WA from your client, and she attached it there, it will actually be at the top portion of the email under "Subject," "Received," and then the next line down will be "Attachment." It will be underscored. Please forgive me if you already know this. Another possibility is that it is in the assignment itself, which has happened to me before. You might open the assignment itself to see if it's hiding in there. I hope you find it! In the end, I would just shoot her a message and ask her to send it again so you can complete the assignment on time!. I can't see what that would hurt. :-) You need to have the tools to get the job done. Good luck! |

I don't see the attachment on the project at all, and we haven't spoken via email. I think at this point she thought she attached something and didn't. I've messaged her twice now, and I think at this point I'm going to drop the assignment.

Aww, I'm sorry, Hoping2.
I imagine you are getting close to the deadline at this point, so I understand dropping it rather than getting a possible ding for letting it expire (through no fault of your own). I wish she had responded to you. It sounds to me like maybe she didn't have her project fully ready and put together...and didn't let you in on it. Yep, move on. I hope it's going well for you there, otherwise. |
