I find its really that bad over there, and because of the following.

1. My articles never get reviewed. My limit is 10 and if I write 10 on a Monday the articles don't get approved until Friday... IF IM LUCKY!

2. You have to get on around the time they load the articles, because this is when people haven't finished them in time and they get back into the system. People who are able to claim 40 and 100 do so, and then no one else can get any articles. If they come back into the system on Wed or Thurs your totally screwed because you can never get them reviewed in that short period of time.

3. The articles available is a low number. The site hired way too many people and now have so many writers that the editors can't review articles quickly and there aren't enough assignments to go around.

I sent them an email a month or so ago telling them I hadn't earned enough for payout, but I was sick of there never being any articles available at the times I could check. I told them that I wanted to get payment for what was owed and then be removed from their site. They told me that they do not have too many writers for the available work, they're just being pickier about quality and weeding out the poor writers and editors have been asked to be more careful about finding errors, which is why review times are slower. Don't think I believe them, but they insisted that they are not overstaffed.

They did. They asked me to confirm that I really wanted to quit, and then once I did that, they sent my payout a week later.

hmmm, that must be why they are not accepting new writers.

They are way too picky for only paying $4 an article.

I know lots of writers had great success with them. I started with them in June and found a few easy articles. Turned them two of them both were accepted without issue at 400ish words. The other was about a specific cuisine that I happen to love. I'd listed ingredients specific to that culture and a detailed a few of the more popular specialties, and the editor said it would be better if I listed actual recipes for those specialties. I really wasn't comfortable doing that because it meant copying recipes from books or other sites. I liked my way better, but I did what the editor said because it was the only way to get it to pass. After that it was accepted and I got great feedback, but doing what was asked put me well over 550 words. At $4 an article, it really wasn't worthwhile to me to me to continue.

This week was a short week for everyone because of the holidays, The editors took some time off and the cutoff date was early. In addition, there were a few days when MC took time off and didn't release any titles. Like everyone else said, there aren't many titles being released to begin with.
