They really are doing that bad... I was just raised to level 4 a few weeks ago. I received an email a few minutes ago stating that they no longer need me and they will contact me in the future if more work becomes available. I'm now in need of an extra $100 a week, if anyone has overflow PM me.

I'm so glad to be done with Merchant Circle. They owe me $4 so I guess I will e-mail them shortly.

It really is bad over there. I asked to be bumped a level a couple of weeks ago and I got an e-mail back saying that they didn't have enough work to bump me. Since then every article I have written has come back for revision. Every single one. `

I have basically quit writing for them as of today - if they want "high quality" writing then they should pay HIGH QUALITY PRICES!! My PC pays me anywhere from 25 to 50 per article and I always give him my highest quality writing - MC only pays $4 so no they don't get high quality and they won't from me.

Wow, it's so crazy. It's been about 4 months since I have stopped writing for them. I'm hoping I can continue to find private clients. SO far I have been lucky to work with such amazing people! This just means it's time to move on. MC gave the experience I needed to get on the role.

They just sent me an email letting me go. I just want to be paid for my outstanding articles. No up to their standard...Pftt! No many writers and not enough articles. They'll keep those that consistently make the top numbers....

I was sent the same email. Oh well. Greener pastures and more green in my wallet from other sites. They can keep their high expectations and low pay for writers who are fine with slow editing times, little to no response and rewrite requests that make editors at DS cringe. I only received two rewrite requests from them but both were so insane that I wanted to scream. Good riddance!

I received the same email also. I quit writing for them three months ago because I started to find myself so stressed out that I didn't want to write anything at all for anyone. Everything improved on my end when I made that decision. It was similar in feeling to letting Demand go.
