Default OT: PayPal ID question

I have a weird question.

My primary paypal ID is an old email that I used to set up my account. But I also have a secondary email listed on there as well, which is now my primary email. I tried to switch the two, but for some reason, PP wouldn't let me.

My question is this: If I gave clients my secondary PP ID to send payment to, would the payment go through.

I just hate giving out my old primary email, as its a little... Well, it's just old and I don't wanna use it anymore!!

if you have both listed on your PP profile, it should go through without any problem

I thought so, but I wasn't sure.

You won't have an issue. My husband and I have a single business Paypal account because my writing and his art business are lumped together as a single business through our accountant. He uses his email for his aspect of the business and I use my email for my aspect. Never had an issue receiving payments at either email.

Cool! I can stop giving out my "creepy" email address then. Yay!

yes, you can receive payments to either email. My primary is my name email but I use a different one for all my writing and I have no issue.
