Wish I could answer, but I'm just starting out and literally just sold my first one yesterday. Here's some of what I discovered so far though:
-Write them long enough to be priced for at least $2.99. The one I did, and the ones I'm planning, are around 10,000 words so they're relatively short. But I don't want to sell them for.99 cents because I want them in the 70 percent program. That means I have to pack them chock full of information to make them worth it to the reader. -Have a marketing plan. People find them via Amazon, but in my opinion, you need to promote them too or they just get lost in the bog. My Examiner column ties in nicely with my first title, which gives me a platform to promote it was well as credibility in writing on that subject. Good luck! |

You are paid royalties based on the price you set for your Kindle books. If you set it between $2.99-$9.99, you earn 70% of each sale. Anything below or above that range gives you 35% of the sale.
